My Exposed Skin Care Experience
We don’t often publish guest articles on this website, but this letter that we received by email from Patricia from Strathpine Nr Brisbane… is self explanatory and a really encouraging read if you are suffering from acne or any other skin condition….
Hi There,
My name is Patricia I am 30 years old and for as long as I can remember I have suffered with bad skin.
Since around the age of 10, I have suffered from oily skin, pimples, blackheads, redness and just general blotchiness and uneven skin tone. When I was a teenager it was bad enough, I didn’t know anyone with skin as bad as mine – I lost track of the amount of bottles of foundations I went through a month just to try and make my skin look even reasonably decent.
People used to say to me, ‘Everyone gets the odd pimple, you’ll soon grow out of it’ well here I am at the ripe old age of 30 and still looking like I was going through puberty thanks to my teenage skin which has resulted in numerous trips to the doctor..
I was told it was acne, acne rosacea or possibly, perioral dermatitis. But no one knew for certain and even though they didn’t really know, they subjected me to all sorts of medications, I felt like a guinea pig.
I have taken antibiotics; Lymecycline, Erythromycin (which made me feel sick), Doxycycline, at least 7 contraceptive pills e.g.) Dianette (which made me very ill) topicals; benzoyl peroxide (made me look like a burns victim), tretinoin, adapalene and finally, clindamycin.
Any effect they have had has been marginal and definitely not worth the awful side effects, (sunburn due to sensitivity to sun, burning, itching and flaking) and it just made my face even redder and inflamed which was ironic considering they are supposed to relieve inflammation!
The next step for me would be a dermatologist, I had asked the doctor for Roaccutane (Accutane) but was told they might be reluctant to prescribe it because my spots were very ‘small’. I felt like no one was taking me at all seriously, it got irritating hearing people say ‘It’s not as bad as you think’, or ‘I’ve seen people with skin far, far worse than yours’.
I couldn’t handle people telling ME how I felt about MY acne.
As if I didn’t have any right to be unhappy about my skin because other people out there had it worse??
When I was close to giving up and resigning myself to the fact that I would never have nice skin, I stumbled across a natural acne product online called Exposed Skin Care.
It appealed to me because it didn’t contain any of the harsh, nasty chemicals that I’d been using on my face before.
After reading your review I decided to take the plunge and buy the 60 day 6 – piece kit. It was relatively expensive, I had never spent that much money on a product before ($59.99) but reading about the product online I knew instantly that I had to try it.
This contained the facial cleanser, a clearing tonic, clear pore serum, acne treatment serum, a moisture complex, a special cleansing cloth and free membership to club exposed.
Best of all, it was mainly natural plant based ingredients and contained only one acne medication.
Every morning and evening, I used the kit religiously, even when I got home late I would take all my make up off and follow the regime no matter how I tired I was. I experienced none of the unpleasant side effects I had had before – no itching, no burning and best of all, no redness.
Within a week, my skin seemed a lot smoother, the texture was far less lumpy and bumpy; even the redness and blotchiness on my cheeks seemed to be improving (finally!)
I can honestly say, within 2 weeks of using the Exposed Skin Care kit daily, my skin was cleaner, fresher, clearer, my pores seemed smaller, my blackheads less prominent and the redness on my cheeks seemed to get less and less.
I’m ecstatic by the results and its honestly boosted my self-confidence so much to the point where I have been out of the house with very little make up on and I feel fine, I don’t feel like everyone’s staring at me!
I can’t wait to see my results another month down the line and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who has exhausted all other treatments and want a natural treatment that really WORKS.
Do believe the hype about Exposed Skin Care because for me, it has been a true lifesaver.
I hope that this gives some of your readers some hope – acne can be treated, its just about finding the right product(s)
Best Wishes
Patricia x
